Imagine Your Impact.
As Product Manager, you’ll be responsible for the vision of the product, and overseeing the execution of that vision. You will work directly with teachers and administrators to stay on top of market and customer needs. You will also work closely with instructional design and engineering to deliver value to the market in the most efficient, effective way possible. This role works heavily with Instructional Design, User Experience Design, Market Research, User Research, Engineering, and Product Management peers. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with a talented team in order to provide students with the engaging, effective content that they love!
- Position Type: This is a regular, full-time position.
- Compensation: Base pay is anticipated to be between $86,261 and $120,000/year. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.
- Location: In this US-based position your location will be remote.
- Travel: You can also expect up to 30% travel, so be sure you have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance and a clean driving record for at least the preceding 39 months.
Envision Your Experience.
In this role you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Manage various products through their lifecycle, working closely with an extended team of results-oriented product managers, curriculum experts, designers, project managers, engineers, professional development trainers, customer success managers, marketing, and sales experts.
- Build a product vision and communicate that vision to team, peers, and stakeholders.
- Have a keen focus on outcomes over outputs being mindful of product profitability.
- Use qualitative and quantitative data to inform product direction and decisions.
- Gather information about buyer and user needs through interviews and customer visits as well as product analytic tools.
- Solve customer problems by building software products customers love.
- Facilitate purposeful feedback gathering initiatives with internal and external customers to inform product priorities.
- Create and collaborate on product management artifacts and process.
- Coordinate launch of new products and features with internal and field teams.
- Identify trends related to product needs and seek out potential new buy, build or partner opportunities.
- Research industry trends, competitive intelligence, and market behaviors to develop well informed backlogs and roadmaps.
- Travel up to 30% for conferences and meetings with field teams as needed.

Share Your Expertise.
Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:
- Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, business, or engineering and 3+ years of experience in an education-related field, or an acceptable combination of education and experience. Literacy education experience required.
- Experience working with agile engineering teams to organize, prioritize, and execute work.
- Think differently and bring disruptive innovative concepts and ideas forward.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to make complex topics clear.
- Enjoy spending time in the market to understand their problems and to find innovative solutions for the ed tech market.
- A passion for products, technology, business, and user experience.
- Technical prowess to discuss technical issues.
- Leadership skills to influence and inspire team members while steering products in the best direction possible.
- Self-motivation and a strong desire to make an impact in K-12 education.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%.
